Dan went to Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee for four years before transferring to Florida State University, achieving a number of individual honours.
Dan secured a fairytale maiden DP World Tour title at the Joburg Open at the start of the 2023 season, winning on just his third start after turning professional. Dan won his second DP World Tour title at the FedEx Open de France in 2024, carding a five under par final round to win by one stroke at Le Golf National.

David has won seven times worldwide, including five European Tour titles, and memorably secured the 2006 HSBC Champions title in Shanghai, out-scoring playing partner and then World Number One Tiger Woods.
David enjoyed his most successful season on tour in 2006, adding victory on home soil at the BMW Championship to his HSBC Championship win, before going on to make his second appearance in The Ryder Cup.
David was a member of Europe’s victorious Ryder Cup sides in 2004 and 2006, became the European Tour’s Tournament Committee Chairman in 2017 and made his 600th European Tour appearance at the 2018 Nordea Masters.
